When Allergan, the makers of Botox Cosmetic asked for a DTC rebate loyalty program that would reflect the needs of patients and prospects, Sparks created a reloadable debit MasterCard for multiple rebates made of mirror material.

    Because doctor’s office counter space is limited, Sparks designed a fashionable wall mirror for dermatologist and plastic surgeon waiting rooms, overprinted with “ask your doctor…” graphics and info.

    Understanding that customer-initiated “Botox parties” were gaining popularity and that some patients had to wait more than a month for a treatment appointment, Sparks recommended walk-in days exclusively for patients in the rewards program.

Sparks also proactively suggested other Customer Experience improvements and won incremental business from Allergen.  Sparks created the concept and designed a new sales Welcome Kit and Web pages. The Reasons  Welcome Kit contained a tangible CD mailing with an integral mini-booklet and letter in the jewel cover plus a mirror gift card toward the next treatment.  The CD linked to relevant Web pages, to greatly increase page visits and time on site, ultimately leading to increased treatments.


Sparks recommended replacing static before and after photos with video and a Behind the Scenes theme.  Allergan had extensive footage that was not being utilized.  Technology provided the rest.   This video Web page and the ideas were created by Sparks.
